ASRC Aerospace Corporation Achieves ISO 9001:2000 RegistrationGreenbelt, MD, November 22, 2004 - The ASRC Aerospace Corporation is proud to announce that it has attained ISO 9001:2000 registration at the 6303 Ivy Lane, Greenbelt, Maryland and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center locations. The registration audit was conducted by Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc., an auditing firm accredited by the Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB). The scope of the registration is to “Provide Research, Design, Test, Integration and Engineering Solutions to Develop, Deliver and Support Aerospace Hardware and Software Systems.” For ASRC Aerospace, a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), ISO 9001:2000 registration required a considerable commitment of resources and dedication. John Marentic of Perry Johnson Registrars stated, “Due to the above average standards implemented by ASRC Aerospace, the registration audit was competed in a timely manner without any Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) found. Congratulations to ASRC Aerospace on a job well done.” The award ceremonies were held in Greenbelt, Maryland on Wednesday, November 17th, 2004.
