ASRC Aerospace was nominated for providing outstanding research, science, engineering, and technical support to KSC through the University-affiliated Spaceport Technology Development Contract (USTDC). The five-year KSC contract has an estimated initial value of $220 million plus five one-year options that could raise the potential value of the full contract to $600 million. “ASRC Aerospace is honored to have been nominated and selected for this award. We are proud of our people at KSC and the role they play in providing research and development and engineering support focused on the critical KSC mission.” said Richard Ambrose, ASRC Aerospace President and Chief Executive Officer. Jim Madewell, Executive Vice President and Chief Operation Officer for ASRC Aerospace stated, “This is truly a unique honor for a young company such as ASRC Aerospace and reflects our dedication to the NASA KSC’s mission.
